He fixed the broken panels, fully stripped the door down to bare wood, replaced some plexiglass with real glass, stained the door and applied a gloss finish. The door looked like new. "Mike is a perfectionist and he really hit the mark on a couple of projects for me. First project was my back door. I considered staining it but he recommended using a clear coat on a beautiful red fir door. It is gorgeous and ties to my clear coat maple cabinets really well. That was over three years ago and the tight seal and finish have held up like new.
For the second project, Mike did the entryway door to our 100 year old six flat. We had neglected the front door for awhile so it was in pretty bad shape when Mike refinished the front door and side lights, then stained and clear coated them. We have budgeted in for Mike to come back every few years for a touch up. I would recommend Mike's work in a heartbeat."
